You may notice that I changed the wording of my blog a little. It’s a little more inclusive of other projects I take on besides art. I also do a variety of sewing crafts that I donate to Catholic Charities Maine, USA that are raffled off to raise funds for programs all over the state.
One of my projects is the Twelve Days of Christmas ornaments in felt by Bucilla (a popular manufacturer of felt kits). I have three of the twelve done and I have the 3rd one to show you today. It’s the Three French Hens. It’s the 1st picture I’ve taken with my Surface Pro. I could even do some basic editing.
After I get done here I’m going to get a little breakfast than look at everything everyone else has been doing. It’s so exciting to get to know people on the blogs.
Thank you all for your likes and comments it’s a lot of fun and very encouraging!
My Zen coloring app came up with a mandala that interested me. Hope you like it too.
It looks like I have a new form of painting–new to me that is. I haven’t had the pleasure since I was bored in school. Tonight I kept myself amused for an hour and a half. Technology when it works well is a lot of fun. As I gain experience with the Surface Pro 4 and the graphic apps I use I hope to see more finesse and varied techniques. One can always hope…
So tonight here is my first doodle–comments welcome:
Now here is something to meditate on! Although yesterday’s mandala was a lot lighter and delicate to contemplate as a dear friend of mine described it. I was really doubtful I could pull it off. You see the website gave me a floral mandala to color. I felt like Mortia from the TV series The Adams Family. For those who remember it. Anyway here it is as I said I would:
Hi! I couldn’t work on the mandalas for a few weeks because I was having problems with my Surface Pro 4 Pen but now I’m up and running. What I have for you today is a color combination I’ve used before but in this case I’ve used white as one of the colors–for the background and on the inside. The next one may be completely black and white. No more delay–here is today’s:
I haven’t posted for a while because my laptop has been on the blink but now all appears resolved. Today I have a colored picture for you that was suppose to be for the U.S. 4th of July Independence Day celebration. The bird looks startled at its coloring the flowers are suppose to represent exploding fireworks–I try.
I changed up my “pitch” so to speak and present to you this morning with a little geometric drawing. There will be more mandalas but this is my original and signed.
Yup! I’ve done it twice. there are now 2 daily mandalas. I’m presenting the second one tonight. I hope this app doesn’t quit before I do ( not very likely). It may even be a double feature in that there is a colored picture that is almost done that I am going to directly after I get this posted. Hope you enjoy!
